Stacking Tic-Tac-Toe Game With Twelve Plastic Tokens

A square already occupied by a token can become part of the next decision in this tic-tac-toe game. Larger pieces can cover smaller ones, adding a stacking choice to the usual three-in-a-row contest.

Benefits

• Two clear sides: six red and six blue tokens divide the players. The colours keep ownership visible on the board as each new turn changes the arrangement.
• Three sizes: the tokens give each player more than one size to choose from. That makes the piece selection part of the turn instead of deciding only which empty square to occupy.
• Cover-over action: a larger token can sit over a smaller one. Players consider that option alongside building their own line, giving the game another decision beyond a conventional flat-piece layout.
• Portable play: the compact plastic set can be used at a table or included with travel activities. Gather the tokens after the round so the same board is ready for another two-player session.
