Wooden Shape Puzzle with Colourful Fitting Pieces

Try fitting colourful wooden pieces within one framed board with a shape puzzle that can be rearranged. Each outline creates a different placement choice, making the activity about building a complete layout rather than following a printed picture on every piece.

Benefits

• Choose a shape: The pieces have different outlines that need to fit within the available board area. Compare the spaces and select a piece before trying its position in the arrangement.
• Use the colour clues: Different colours make the separate pieces easy to distinguish. The bright surfaces let the developing layout show the position of each shape as more of the board is filled.
• Rework the placement: Remove or turn a piece when another arrangement is needed. This gives the puzzle a repeatable fitting task, with the same collection available for a new attempt.
• Keep the board together: A wooden frame surrounds the working area. The flat format gathers the shapes in one small activity set that can be stored with the other puzzles between play sessions.
